Problem

Convert Eb/N0 in decibels to the SNR in decibels for a given spectral efficiency (bits per symbol):

SNR_dB = Eb/N0_dB + 10 * log10(rate)

Hint

SNR scales with the bit rate, so a factor of two costs about 3 dB.
